What to Expect

Veterinary Service with Courtesy & Respect!

We see patients by booked appointment to cut down on waiting time. However, emergency cases do take top priority therefore, sometimes resulting in appointment delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.

Your appointment starts by getting your pet weighed, followed by entering an available exam room where a technician will gather history and write down questions you have for the Doctor. A veterinarian will see you next and will examine your pet, answer any questions and talk about treatment plans and diagnostics. Our front desk will finish up by handling the bill and scheduling any follow up appointments.

Due to the increased need in Veterinary care we are seeing an increase of missed scheduled appointments.  When an appointment is scheduled with us, we set aside our staff and enough time to provide you with the highest quality care.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please contact our office as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours prior to the time of the appointment.   Because of this we have implemented our No Show Policy.  After 1 missed scheduled appointment without appropriate notice (24hrs), we will require a non-refundable deposit to re-book the appointment or for any other future scheduled appointments made.  The deposit will be applied to the bill of the re-scheduled appointment if it is attended.  If this re-scheduled appointment is missed again then the deposit is non-refundable and another deposit will be required to re-schedule again.

As a courtesy, we make reminder calls for appointments and surgeries.  Please provide us with your current contact information, and ask you to update this information if anything changes, so we have no issues getting in touch with you.

APPOINTMENT/SURGICAL PROCEDURE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY  (January 2025)

Thank you for choosing our practice for your Veterinary care.  When you schedule an appointment with us, we set aside our staff and enough time to provide you with the highest quality care.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please contact our office as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours prior to the time of your scheduled appointment.  This gives us time to schedule other patients who may be waiting for an appointment.

 

Due to an increasing number of missed appointments, please see our Appointment Cancellation / No Show Policy below.

  • Effective January 20, 2025, any client who fails to show up or fails to cancel / reschedule an appointment by contacting our office with at least 24 hours notice of the scheduled appointment time will be considered a No Show. After 1 missed appointment, we will require a $50.00 (non-refundable) deposit to re-book the appointment, or $100.00 (non-refundable) deposit to re-book the surgery.  This deposit will be applied to the bill the day of the appointment/surgery.  In the event the appointment/surgery is missed again the deposit will be non-refundable.

 

 

Scheduled Appointments

We understand that delays can happen, however we must try to keep the other patients and doctors on time.  If a patient is 15 minutes past their scheduled time, you will be marked as a No Show, and we will have to reschedule the appointment.

 

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, we make reminder calls for appointments and surgeries.  Please make sure to provide us with all updated phone numbers, addresses and email, so we can contact you.

 

We understand there may be times when an unforeseen emergency occurs, and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment.  If you should experience extenuating circumstances please contact our receptionist team, who may be able to waive the No Show Policy.  You may contact our practice 24 / 7 at the number above.  Should it be after regular business hours Monday – Saturday, or on Sunday you may leave a message.  Messages left with at least 24 hours notice (excluding non-working hours (weekends / holidays)) are accepted as notice of cancellation.  Thank you for understanding.
